Paisley Moon Trio
A charismatic performer and seasoned vocalist, Angela Forest captivates audiences with her distinctive voice and evocative lyrics that explore themes from environmental responsibility to magical fantasy. Beginning her career in 1975 as a solo folk guitarist, Angela became the lead singer of the Central Florida pop-rock band The Mix and has performed in theatrical productions and with the 60s girl group The Creamettes. Elaine Gray, an electric guitarist with a career spanning decades, co-founded The Mix and played with several offshoot groups, such as The Creamettes and Angie B & The Thrill Things. Her recent work includes a decade-long stint with the Celtic group The Mountain Laurels. Known for her rhythmic style, Elaine anchors her bands with a steady beat and groove. Her original compositions have also been featured in theater and film, showcasing her creative versatility.
Rhonda Lorence, a classically trained violist and violinist, blends Celtic and contemporary folk influences in her performances and compositions. With a degree in music performance and over 30 years of experience, she has earned acclaim for albums like Winter Moon and Movements in the Moment. Her music, praised for its intricate textures and emotional depth, has been featured in films, ballets, and radio, drawing comparisons to Wagner and John Williams for its evocative and haunting quality.
