Each sculptural piece is fabricated from silver, gold, glass and gemstones through direct metal construction processes and fabrication techniques. I am self taught: The development of my unique techniques have been driven by the passion to reflect natures wonder and magic – that brings me in each walk to stand still in awe at the tiniest dew drop on a flower petal or blade of grass. I use everything from banana and avocado skins to fabrics and cement blocks to achieve intricate detail and texture. The brilliant colors on the silver are achieved through a torch ONLY oxidation technique I developed slowly over the past 20 years. To representing nature, the piece has to have movement and the engineer in me loves that challenge and stimulation.  Each articulated piece, represents the endless fascination and magic I find in the whimsical movement, delicate details, intriguing textures and brilliant colors in nature. Designs are integrated with the symbolisms of our Unity with nature.
